Celia Smart is a devoted wife, mother, fitness expert, and community leader with over 18 years of experience as an athlete, coach, and trainer. She is Senior Project Manager for Ready Fitness, where she combines her expertise in fitness and sales to design and equip functional, innovative wellness spaces for multifamily communities, educational institutions, corporate settings, and private studios.

Celia’s dedication to fitness spans decades. She served as fitness coach for the Charlotte Hornets Honeybees (2011–2024), competed in 25 fitness competitions (2003–2017), earned her Pro Card at age 40, and placed 3rd at Fitness America Worlds. At age 50, she competed in the Hotworx Virtual Trainer Competition, one of just 15 participants flown to Nashville to compete live. Her experience as both a competitor and coach shapes her holistic approach to training, programming, and wellness.

A passionate advocate for community, Celia is a brand partner with Clean Juice and Salata in Charlotte and co-founded Multifamily Milers in 2025, creating a network of fitness enthusiasts across the multifamily industry. Her personal motto, “Be Amazing,” fuels her work as the creator and host of the Be Amazing Podcast, where she interviews influential leaders from the business and fitness worlds.

Celia is a seasoned host, moderator, and emcee. In 2025, she emceed TEDx Sugar Creek Women and hosted her 3rd Annual Celebrating Women in the Queen City event. She has also emceed Light Up Charlotte, moderated panels for the KNOW Women FOCU$ED Series and the National KNOW Women’s Summit, and has led intimate women’s events since 2020. That same year, she was honored as one of “20 on the Rise” by the National Apartment Association in Las Vegas.

Her leadership extends beyond fitness. Celia spent five years on the board of the Healthy Charlotte Initiative, earning the Novant “Healthy Charlotte” Volunteer of the Year Award in 2016. She served as President of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association Products and Services Council (2016–2018) and currently serves as President of the PTAA Products and Services Council (2026). In 2019, she raised over $32,000 for Carolina Breast Friends through Dancing with the Stars Charlotte, earning the Judges’ Choice Award.
